New album and video in the works

Anaura has begun writing their fourth studio album. "This is the longest amount of time we've taken to release an album.", says singer/guitarist, Alex Hillmer. "I finally feel like we are in a good place to buckle down and release an incredible album. Too many things, both good and bad, have stalled the songwriting process over the past few years."

Drummer, Josh Manion has a similar take on the stall. "We were shopping around for a new bass player and had time consuming issues with our studio. Its hard to concentrate on writing when un-romantic band stuff gets in the way.", says Josh. "We have about 20 new ideas brewing as well as a few finished songs. Now it's all about putting the pieces of the puzzle together and getting more songs out there."

Bassist, Aaron Skiles continues, "I've been in the band for a year now, learning the catalog of songs, practicing, and playing shows. It's great to have passed the 'new guy' initiation and now work on an album with the guys. The new ideas are different than the past three albums. The songs are darker, more complex with lots of drive."

Alex concludes, "We never talked about the good stuff. Ha! On a serious note, we are ready for a stylistic shift and we'll be looking to add one or two more musicians to the fold in 2011."
